Blog #1 - Week 6

How does one even start writing something like this? The challenge was to write weekly about the past week and to share my existence. It makes me think of the old books about Bert, who usually started his diary entries with "Hello hello dear diary..." followed by some musings about what it was like to be a teenager, infatuated with various beings of the opposite sex.

Hello dear weekly blog and those reading this. If you're curious to learn more about me, the writer, that will come in time, or you can search for me online under “Brandur Karlsson”. Primarily, I aim to approach this as a way for me to preserve and process my thoughts, but I'm curious to see what happens if I open my mind to the world.

This week, several noteworthy things happened to me. I had a meeting with Rene and a Portuguese actress who will work with us on our trip to her homeland in March. The goal of the trip is to meet and collaborate with Portuguese artists and experience the culture there. Anita also came from Poland to practice with me in the mornings. We have previously trained together with good results. Rahul is in France, where he is attending several courses, and it's going very well there. I experienced a powerful hypnosis session from Stella, who has helped me in many ways to get my mind in the right direction.

I have been working on the novel "Oldest" that I am writing, expecting it to be published in 2026. It takes time and concentration to use one's eyes to write. Then there's brassi.art in progress. The goal there is to tell the adventures and travels of Brassa and friends. There, it will be possible to buy items and art related to these stories and support future projects. Also, the movie about the Nepal adventure is now streaming at https://www.amazon.co.uk/Atomy-Brandur-Karlsson/dp/B0CMSD5G22. I'm often asked if there will be a sequel. But it was Logi Hilmarsson who accomplished the feat of making this film, which won the best movie in Belgrade. It was really fun to be there.

That's all for now. See you next week.

With love
